Registers of Scotland is moving towards complete digitisation of customer interactions with its land and property registers. As a digital innovator, it plans to offer its expertise to other public bodies.
Achieving these business objectives requires creative teamwork. C2’s design for the renovation of the 5,580sq ft lower ground floor of Meadowbank House allows RoS to experiment with new ways of working to encourage and support collaboration.
As well as desks and meeting rooms, the office includes a range of collaborative work and presentation spaces. These are arranged along the window wall, overlooking an external patio garden, which is an extension of the internal workplace. The garden features fully serviced meeting pods and other informal seating set amongst bee and butterfly-friendly planting.
A new cafe next to the outdoor area allows staff to pick up a coffee on their way into the office or as they head out to a garden meeting.
