This light-touch refurbishment was intended to bring life into an under-used reception area and to make the multi-tenanted building look more appealing from the street. C2 designed the shared meeting and work space to feel informal and domestic.

To create a more intimate sense of scale within the tall atrium space, we introduced a broad painted grey band at the level of the first floor slab. And we lowered one of the existing circular pendant light fittings – adding a yellow film to the inner rim – to further anchor the space.
