Global tech company itelligence wanted its new Midlands office to provide a flexible and inspiring workplace that would encourage innovation and attract the best people. The centre is intended to be a place for meeting and group working rather than a full time workspace.

C2 collaborated closely with itelligence to develop the design through a structured series of workshops. As the scheme developed, a video fly-through model allowed the client to explore the space virtually and make final adjustments to various details.

The office includes a variety of work settings, ranging from hot desks and small meeting rooms to a custom-built amphitheatre for informal presentations and a flexible central meeting space known as the Think Tank.

With both employees and clients keen to work in the new office, the project has succeeded in its aim of encouraging collaboration to drive innovation.
